教育・研究に対する考え方

教育:体内での栄養素代謝(基礎栄養学)の理解は、症例に対する正しいアセスメントや栄養管理をするために重要であり、幅広い疾患の知識や最新の医学用語などの生きた症例を学ぶことで、実践力を身につけた管理栄養士の育成が行えると考えている。
研究:基礎栄養学の知識は、病態および栄養療法などの臨床栄養管理を学ぶ上で必須であるため、臨床研究(ヒトを対象とした研究)だけでなく、動物や細胞を用いた基礎研究の両方を習得することで、栄養士としての考える力を養い、スキルアップが可能になると考えている。
